Zurich had a range of investment products within its digital ecosystem.

However, the section had comprehension issues, making it difficult for users to understand the available options and make informed decisions.

The main problem was not usability, but the lack of information to make decisions.

My role

I joined the project once the initial research and the definition of a first architecture were completed.

My work was to bring that foundation into a clear, usable, and testable final experience, focusing on the interface, information hierarchy, and functional prototype.

Proposal

The new experience reorganizes information around decision-making:

• Clear view of the current investment status

• Visualization of performance and returns

• Comparison between key values

• Access to detailed information without overwhelming the interface

Validation with HTML prototype

The last round of user testing was carried out with an HTML mockup since the different functionalities and evaluation of dynamic charts did not allow it to be done with traditional tools like InVision or Figma.

This made it possible to properly validate:

• Chart comprehension

• Interpretation of metrics

• Navigation between sections
  
  

Impact

The new design and user testing yielded the following results

• All users found the information they were looking for

• Significant improvement in data comprehension

• High satisfaction compared with the previous version

• Greater clarity in reading metrics

• Increased confidence in decision-making
