Overview
Blink is an audiovisual production company that also developed its own technology product. Content Studio was created to manage productions from start to finish and was used both by Blink and by other companies in the industry. It brought project management, team members, vendors, and the financial control of each production into one place.

The problem
Despite having a centralized platform, each production company was still managing several critical processes outside the system or through informal conversations.
Processes were fragmented across the platform, spreadsheets, emails, and manual approvals. This created duplicated work, limited visibility, and a high operational dependency.
My role
As a Product Designer, I worked on the evolution of Content Studio alongside Operations, Finance, Production, and Engineering. My role was to understand complex processes across different companies, translate them into product flows, design scalable and configurable solutions, validate them with users, and ensure visual and functional consistency across the platform.
Over three years, we incorporated more than 15 processes into Content Studio that had previously been managed manually or through external tools, creating solutions that could adapt to the different needs of each company.
User discovery with internal teams.
Mapping operational and financial processes.
Designing flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Validation with stakeholders and users.
Handoff and follow-up with Engineering.
Evolution of the design system.
Examples of improvements
Financial dashboard
I designed a dashboard to identify the productions with the highest profit. The view consolidated key financial information, helping Operations and Finance compare performance, detect opportunities, and follow up on key cases.

Internal team booking
Internal team booking used to live in a complex spreadsheet. We transformed it into an integrated view within Content Studio, where availability, assignments, workload percentages, and absences could be easily understood.

Complete redesign of indexes
The original views contained too much information, making it difficult to understand what required attention. I reorganized the information, simplified how each index was read, and made statuses, alerts, and key comparison data more visible so teams could make decisions faster.

Vendor self-onboarding
Vendor onboarding depended on spreadsheets, links, emails, and manual follow-up. I designed a guided portal where vendors could complete their information, documentation, tax forms, payment details, and contract signing more independently.

Design system
As Content Studio grew, I also worked on product consistency through reusable components, patterns, styles, states, and layouts. This helped accelerate the design of new features and reduce inconsistencies across modules.

Other redesigned flows
Automated invoice generation • Expense reconciliation • Internal team financial dashboards • Vendor ratings and reviews • Vendor Portal • Digital asset management (DAM) • Time tracking
Impact
15+ redesigned or integrated flows
Less dependency on manual processes
Improved operational and financial visibility
Greater consistency through the design system
UX practices incorporated into the product process
Content Studio evolved into a more integrated, consistent, and configurable platform, capable of adapting to the processes and needs of each production team.
